CITIZENS STATE BANK PARTICIPATES IN ‘TEACH CHILDREN TO SAVE DAY’ ON APRIL 29TH

April 2008: Volunteers from Citizens State Bank found a way to teach children about saving that provides instant gratification and can be continued at home. Using a Wisconsin Bankers Association program called Reading Raises Interest, bank staff read an age-appropriate book with a message about money and saving to students at local Elementary and Junior High Schools.

The 12th annual National Teach Children to Save Day on April 29th is an initiative sponsored by the Wisconsin Bankers Association and the American Bankers Association Education Foundation.

CITIZENS STATE BANK EMPLOYEES TOOK PART IN BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS BOWL FOR KIDS SAKE

April 2008: Citizens State Bank employees participated in Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake from April 11-May 1 throughout various bowling alleys in Western Wisconsin. Employees raised a total of $3,086.00 for Big Brothers Big Sisters.

The funds raised provide guidance and support to children through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and go directly toward matching children with carefully screened, caring Big Brother and Big Sister volunteers.

CITIZENS STATE BANK MAKES DONATION TO DUNN COUNTY UNITED WAY

November 2007: Citizens State Bank made a $1,000 donation to the Dunn County United Way. The money donated will go towards the general fund which will be invested in agencies and programs throughout the county. Another $1,000 is being donated to United Way of St. Croix County for a total of $2,000 raised and donated throughout the area. The money donated was raised through cookbook sales at CSB. The recipes in these cookbooks were provided by the staff at CSB and have been available for sale over the past year. Cookbooks are still being sold at all 7 locations.

CITIZENS STATE BANK MAKES $1,000 DONATION TO THE

October 2007: Citizens State Bank made a $1,000 donation to the St. Croix County United Way. The money donated will go towards the development of the Food Resource Center, which will be a centrally located store used to redistribute food to pantries, the homeless shelter, the domestic abuse shelter, and provide community meals. Another $1,000 is being donated to United Way of Dunn County for a total of $2,000 raised and donated throughout the area. The money donated was raised through cookbook sales at CSB. The recipes in these cookbooks were provided by the staff at CSB and have been available for sale over the past year. Cookbooks are still being sold at all 7 locations.

CITIZENS STATE BANK HOLDS GRAND OPENING EVENT AT NEW HEADQUARTERS IN HUDSON

September 2007: Citizens State Bank celebrated the grand opening of its new headquarters in Hudson during the week of September 10-14.

Citizens State Bank would like to welcome the local communities to its new location in Hudson at 375 Stageline Road. During the week of September 10th, CSB celebrated each day with food from local companies, drawings, and product specials. The daily themes were carried out at all of the branches and included health day, kids’ day, and a special “Millionaire for a Week” prize drawing! Anyone who opened an account during the week of 9/10 was eligible to become a Millionaire for a Week. The lucky winner is Megan Langfeldt from Hudson. The interest earned on the account will be donated to the winner’s charity of choice, which is The Humane Society for Companion Animals in Woodbury, MN. The bank also had a special open house on Thursday, September 13th that attracted hundreds of people. Food and refreshments were served.

CITIZENS STATE BANK HAS CUSTOMER APPRECIATION LUNCH IN MENOMONIE

September 2007: The Menomonie branches of CSB held a customer appreciation lunch on September 26th. They served between 125- 150 people and had hot roast beef sandwiches, potato salad, beans and dessert. It was very well received by customers. Thank you for everyone who helped us celebrate!

GLENWOOD CITY HOLD CUSTOMER APPRECIATION EVENT

June 2007: The Glenwood City CSB Staff served around 200 people on June 20th for its Customer Appreciation Lunch. They served roast beef and roast pork sandwiches, beans, potato salad, cheese, brownies, soda and water. The lunch was held from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Thank you to everyone who attended the lunch. We enjoyed seeing you and serving you!

CSB IN WOODVILLE JOINS BALDWIN CHAMBER

June 2007: Citizens State Bank recently became a member of the Baldwin Chamber. CSB of Woodville was visited by the Baldwin Area Chamber Ambassadors including Barry and Pam Grant of Contour Plastics, Brian Bedford of Edward Jones Investments, Sonya Jansma of Jansma Accounting, and Chad Shafer of Shafer Financial on Thursday, June 28th. A small program was held followed by a light breakfast and time for networking.

CSB DONATES TO THE FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER

June 2007: Dan Schmit and Bonnie Johnson, representatives from Citizen's State Bank in Woodville, presents the Family Resource Center St. Croix Valley with a donation. Patty Draxler, Executive Director of the Family Resource Center St. Croix Valley received the donation on behalf of the organization. The Family Resource Center St. Croix Valley provides parent education and support to families with children from birth to six years of age in St. Croix, Pierce and Polk Counties and is funded by grants and donations from foundations, organizations and individuals.

WOODVILLE CUSTOMER APPRECIATION EVENT HELD

May 2007: Citizens State Bank in Woodville held a community dinner on May 16, 2007 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. This event helped kick-off the annual Syttende Mai celebration. The staff of CSB served sloppy joes, baked beans, chips, pickles, brownies, coffee, lemonade and bottled water. There was a drawing for several $10.00 gift cards to local businesses, and balloons were handed out to anyone who wanted one. Approximately 400 members of the local communities were served during the event. Thank you to the Woodville Lions Club for the use of the tent and thank you to everyone who attended!

HUDSON BRANCH ADDS TWO NEW EMPLOYEES

April 2007: Citizens State Bank of Hudson recently announced the addition of Jerry Roehrich to the position of Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking and Bobbi Likes to the position of Personal Banking Officer and Office Manager. Both Roehrich and Likes will be located in the Hudson office of CSB.

Roehrich has over 25 years of commercial banking experience, most recently with Vision Bank of St. Louis Park. Prior to that he was with Associated Bank and Wells Fargo in the Twin Cities metro market. In his new capacity, he will provide loan, deposit and cash management services to commercial banking clients. Roehrich lives in Inver Grove Heights with his wife, Mariann. He has two adult children and two grandchildren who live in the metro area.

Likes has over 27 years of experience in a variety of banking positions. Most recently, she was a Business Banking Specialist at Wells Fargo in Maplewood. Prior to that she was employed by Eastern Heights State Bank of St. Paul. Likes lives in Hudson with her two children, Meghan and Robbie. Likes will provide loan and deposit services to consumers in her new position as well as manage the Hudson location.

THEY HAVE SPIRIT!

Citizens State Bank Relay for Life team was awarded the Spirit Award for the American Cancer Society's 2006 Dunn County Relay for Life. Teams could compete for the award by participating in events the night of the relay. Events included dressing up for various theme laps, a poker run, a scavenger hunt and other fun activities. Forty-two teams participated in the relay and the event raised more than $98,000 to help the fight against cancer.

CSB employees who were a part of the Relay for Life team included Bonnie Johnson, Jim Lockie, Darla Joncas, Jessica Mikesell, Jenn Nelson, Sue Carlson, Jessie Handorf, and Donnie Lien.

CITIZENS STATE BANK DONATES TO ST. CROIX VALLEY FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER

Citizens State Bank raised $1,350 for the St. Croix Valley Family Resource Center in Baldwin. Employees from the seven CSB offices had an opportunity to purchase one of nine computers that were being sold through the bank's IT department. The computers, which are in good condition, were being replaced by newer and updated PC's. Tim Anderson, IT Specialist, presented a check to the SCVFRC on Wednesday, July 5, 2006.

CITIZENS STATE BANK EMPLOYEES PARTICIPATE IN HUDSON 'S COMMUNITY BUILT PLAYGROUND PROJECT

Citizens State Bank employees at the Hudson office raised $1,580 for Hudson 's Community Built Playground.

Employees from the Hudson Branch held a fundraiser to raise money for Hudson 's Community Built Playground. Employees attended a dinner prepared by Executive Vice President, George Hauser and his family, and donated a free-will offering. Employees donated $790 and the bank matched that for a total donation of $1,580. Employees are also scheduled to volunteer to help build the playground on June 20 th and 21 st .

CITIZENS STATE BANK EMPLOYEES TEAMED UP WITH AREA SCHOOLS FOR NATIONAL TEACH CHILDREN TO SAVE DAY

Citizens State Bank employees participated in the National Teach Children to Save Day on April 25, 2006 at the Glenwood City elementary school.

With Americans spending more and saving less, young people often don't learn valuable personal finance skills that will benefit them throughout life. Together, educators, bankers, and parents can help children build good financial habits from an early age. That's why Citizens State Bank participated in the 10 th Annual National Teach Children to Save Day. Volunteers from the Glenwood City office shared information about money or savings with over 100 students.
